Jay Chou's Pandamen illegally turned into movie

Jay Chou has shut himself in to film his second directed movie "Rooftop" (temporary title), his old TV series "Pandamen" has been illegally cut into a movie called "Heroic Detective", it has sneaked onto the shelves in all major DVD stores in Taiwan. In the 90 minutes of "Heroic Detective", apart from a change in lead characters, the plot goes in the opposite direction of the original, netizens stated: "The plot of the movie version makes you sick".

At the 35th Hong Kong International Festival this year in March, this Mainland China publisher was the first to reveal Jay Chou's new self directed movie "Heroic Detective", they even set up a stall for it at the festival, at the time the company intended to invest 1.3 hundred million to turn "Pandamen" which has a total of 20 episodes, each episode 90 minutes long, into a 90 minutes 3D movie version, JVR Music's general manager Yang Jun Rong rejected this proposal with the reason "at the time the contents and quality of Pandamen was not filmed for movies".

Director Chou has shut himself in to film "Rooftop", the plot is a secret, "Heroic Detective" has sneaked onto the shelves, which has stirred up discussion amongst fans, you can tell how much fans look forward to Director Chou's new movie; JVR Music stated: "We have not given permission to edit the series into a movie version, they have infringed on copyright, the company will definitely be taking legal action, the contents have not been approved by JVR and Jay hasn't seen it, fans please don't fall for it."
