Director Chou partners up with Wang Xue Qi, hopes to spark some fireworks

Today artist Jay Chou, who has crossed into the film industry, held a media conference for his second movie "Rooftop", written, directed and starring him. In this new movie, Jay Chou got famed Mainland China actor Wang Xue Qi, he hopes the two of them will spark some fireworks in the movie.
5 years since "Secret", Jay Chou is preparing for his second individual movie "Rooftop". Jay Chou said, in these 5 years he has gained a lot of experience, he has been to Hollywood to film a movie, he thinks art movies suit him more. Jay Chou said: "Being an actor is a bit more relaxing, especially when filming The Green Hornet, at the time I thought if Hollywood invested, I would probably use a very dazzling action movie, but after thinking about it, I'm still more suited to art love films, making accompanying music and filming many MVs."
Not only is Jay CHou directing, starring and composing the accompanying music for his new movie but has also gotten famed Mainland China actor Wang Xue Qi to star in it. On the 9th Wang Xue Qi attended a press conference, he stated he admired Jay Chou's talent, he sang Jay Chou's "Listen To Mother's Words" in acapella.
Jay Chou praised Wang Xue Qi for being manly and having a unique charm. Wang Xue Qi said Jay Chou really gets into it when he is filming, he's living each moment of the scene, plus he is very creative. He said: "I've been on set for the past 2 days, in the crew, it's my first time coming to Taiwan, it's my first time filming in a Taiwanese crew, really for their youthful energy and his ideas....really a different kind of movie, it's a different movie to Mainland China."
Jay Chou stated, Wang Xue Qi will play an important role in the movie. As to who the female lead is, Jay Chou held back the surprise and didn't reveal it.
